Hugging this character: Yes, but he'll be more cagey with women. He's a monk you see, and he treats this seriously.

Kissing this character: Children get a free pass. Everyone else? It depends.

Flirting with this character: He'd be flattered but as above: monk. He meant those vows he took.

Fighting with this character: (Me: sure.) He'd rather not. But he will if there's no other choice. He's an ex-soldier. He can handle weapons.

Injuring this character (include limits and severity): He can fight but he's also older monk. Absolutely not indestructible with no special powers and closer to retirement than his prime.

Killing this character: I'd prefer not to. But I can be reasoned with. Ask first. Heroic sacrifices are not out of the question.

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: He would consider it very rude but can excuse the perpetrator if they had really convincing reason. It's like with eavesdropping. Sometimes unusual situations call for unusual means.

Other: Cadfael is a Benedictine monk from XII century England. BUT he has a very particular view of morality, Christianity and General Attitude to Obeying Rules. He's situational ethicist, preferring to choose his actions in any given situation on "the right thing to do" rather than on a strict moral code. He's very tolerant and forgiving to the point he'd help actual criminals if they only show signs of regret and will to repent.
